This restaurant represents the incursion of Hong Kong-style Chinese food (with Malaysian, English, and Japanese influences) into the Middle Class neighborhoods of Queens. It was recently chosen as one of the 10 best kid-friendly restaurants in town by our Fork in the Road website, not only for its spacious and comfortable dining room, and family-friendly ambiance, but also for the superb dim sum, which children invariably love. Favorite dishes include Tai Chi Soup (a literal ying-yang of seafood and spinach), mushroom-stuffed bean curd sheets, fried-rice balls stuffed with crab meat, and Malaysian curried oxtails in peanut sauce, served strangely with toasted baguettes slices.
