Smooth scarlet booths line the walls within its cool, clean interior. Hotel guests and locals alike can admire the short but sweet wine list, which boasts over a dozen vintages by the glass and house wines by carafes. Also on the menu are a list of specialty cocktails, including a potent watermelon margarita. Entrée prices at this charming hotel restaurant are generally on the higher side: more than $15 for an eight ounce burger served on an English muffin with Gruyère and peppercorn sauce, and over $40 for a veal chop with truffled mashed potatoes. But the most delectable options on the contemporary menu include those with a French sensibility, particularly roasted sea scallops with porcini mushroom butter, chicken française, mustard crusted snapper and creamsicle crème brûlée.
