Despite its name, East City Grill is nowhere close to the east side; it's located in Weston, emphasis on the west. This contemporary-designed establishment prepares American and international fare with a focus on Florida produce and fish when possible. And if local fish isn't available within reach, East City Grill has seafood flown in daily. (Now we're talking about flying fish!) The truffle-crusted sea scallops paired with peal pasta and haricot verts in a cream sauce will delight the palate. For those who prefer meat, there's a vast variety, from duck to pork to skirt steak. Zagat gave this joint the Best Martini in Broward County awards, and the wine list is stocked, making it a destination for tastings and special events.
