People still remember E.R. Bradley's when it was in its former location on "the island" of Palm Beach, but many things about the place haven't changed since it scooted over the water to the more proletarian West Palm. Its burgers still rock, and since the owners are from Maryland, diners can expect some seriously reliable, satisfying crab cakes. Otherwise, the menu is pretty basic. Items won't rock your culinary world, but they will fill your belly and satiate a craving. The real reason most people come is because there are few places around that feel like home to preppies, preppies turned biker wannabes, and just about anyone with even a modicum of class. Tons of outdoor seating allows for the enjoyment of Mother Nature's great contributions to our state, and it should be known that the deck tables are highly sought after. Oh, and lest we forget to mention the cocktails... this place is probably most regarded as a great spot to get your drink on. Bartenders here are dependable mixers, especially when asked to produce a classic. Yep, E.R. Bradley's has been, and will continue to be, the place to get drunk on all things Palm Beach.

An outfit that truly understands how to get you hammered ought to be able to manage the aftereffects. Bradley's does: No sooner have they cleaned up from their raucous late-night blowouts than a new shift arrives to serve gargantuan breakfasts and brunches. Seven days a week from the crack of dawn, this is food calculated to soak up whatever booze you have left in your system -- heavy-duty sponges like the "BLT breakfast" stack of eggs, bacon, and tomato; shrimp and grits; roast chicken... Named after the man who owned four Kentucky Derby horses and the longest-running illegal casino in American history, E.R. Bradley's knows how to party, and that includes a kickin' happy hour five days a week. Since 1984, when it opened in its original location on Palm Beach, the upper crust and some real heels have packed the place Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. -- even though there are no drink specials. Instead, the waterfront restaurant lays out free eats for those who... More »
Bradley's is kind of like a fraternity house for guys who've been out of college for ten years. The beer still flows, and the hot chicks still stop by. The only difference is that now these former slackers have a few bucks to blow, and blow it they do, on happy-hour specials from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each weekday. A complimentary buffet and Intracoastal water views make this a sweet hangout and a prime place to bust out your toga. More »
