Description

This homey restaurant has quickly become Uptown's best first-date spot. First, for several mood-making reasons: The walls are painted Valentine red, the lights are low, and the wine list is long. Second, for several practical ones: The menu is interesting while still being accessible and, while Duplex has a casual vibe, but it feels far classier than what your bill will reflect. Plus, since the restaurant is just a few blocks north of Lake and Hennepin, if things go well, you have several options for a post-meal movie or nightcap.
