Due South is a 15,000-square-foot facility that brews beer onsite and distributes to more than 150 bars and restaurants across South Florida. The sweet spot is in the deceivingly simple-looking tap room -- little more than vacant warehouse space with a few tables. Because it is a distributing brewery, laws prevent it from having a restaurant and kitchen. The brewery gets around this hassle by providing customers with a list of nearby places where you can grab Chinese takeout, a sandwich, or tacos. That ensures you'll hang around for – and maybe after -- happy hour Tuesday through Friday ($1 off beers from 4 to 6 p.m.).
