Description

There is a new genre of music brewing in Miami, and it is called "Kendall Rock." It can best be described as a fusion of electronic music, heavy metal, rap, and punk, with a dash of true suburban angst thrown in. The kids of Kendall have found their venue, and it is Drake's. Located in a West Kendall strip mall, (behind Don Pan's) Drake's showcases a handful of these young, fresh, and talented bands at their all-ages rock show (which usually takes place the third Saturday of each month). Otherwise, Drake's is a Latin influenced bar, with the DJ playing lots of reggaeton and hip hop.
