Downtime Fridays 

After weeks of fall festivities, what better way to burn some of those extra calories and celebrate a month or two of cooler weather than by showing off some dance moves? Dance night presenters Thriftshop and Universatile Music have you covered with weekly dance night Downtime Fridays.

“It’s a little of everything,” says event organizer Reuben Martinez. “We try to be a lot more eclectic than your average night. We try to run the gamut every week. We don’t want to get bored with it.”

Starting at 9 p.m., the music and mood gets increasingly louder as the night progresses, and, from Latin to dubstep, the DJs play almost anything they want.
