Description

Most of the dishes at Down House are too pricey and/or too misguided to enjoy, which is a shame: The beautifully refurbished bank in the Heights is otherwise a truly inviting place to linger over cocktails or coffee. It's these last two things which Down House does far better than its food, with the notable exception of its pitch-perfect Longhorn burger, coated with cheddar and served with housemade pickles.

One of the best cortado in the city plus a thoughtful breakfast/brunch menu. The interior is comfortably funky and the surrounding area makes for a nice walk after your meal. You should go.
