Description

There's almost always a line outside Dottie's, because the patient clientele knows it will be well-fed. Generous breakfasts, whether old-fashioned all-American eggs or more modish Southwestern fare, are carefully cooked with quality ingredients. Juices are fresh-squeezed, and the maple syrup is real. The wide assortment of breakfast breads, muffins, and coffeecakes is baked in-house. You can have breakfast for lunch, as long as you eat by 3.

    Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and this is the best of them all. We've been going to Dottie's for years and always stop in when we're in town. Go early and expect to wait, it's a dodgy neighborhood but this spot is worth it. Be patient about ordering as they have a very thoughtful tempo to their system - the owner cooks absolutely every meal and that's just how it is.
