Donna Jean's Libations

While the West Valley isn't exactly known as a hotbed of live music, the proprietors of Donna Jean's seem bound and determined to change that perception. They host a virtual "who's who" of local bands on their stage every weekend, including a variety of rock, indie, metal, and hip-hop acts. The ultra-eclectic open mic session every Wednesday night also offers everything from singer-songwriters to dudes strumming their ukuleles. True to its name, the Glendale establishment boasts a serious selection of libations from its bar, including 10 beers on tap, 17 more by the bottle, and a variety of mixed drinks. Pool, darts, and pinball are also available to help you pass the time while bands load their gear between sets.
