Tree Haus Bistro
Denver, CO 80218
The blossoming of East 17th Avenue that started with the EZE Mop retail development has continued with Tree Haus Bistro, which occupies a Victorian house and garden right by the retail stores. Although Tree Haus opened with the idea of serving lunch and coffee to those who work at businesses and hospitals in the neighborhood, it definitely has room to grow. There are intimate upstairs rooms in the house for private parties, and a lovely garden out front where the season could be extended with heat lamps. And there are also plans to add beer, wine, tapas and desserts to the menu once Tree Haus gets its liquor license. For now, though, owner Elizabeth Lahey and her son, Xavian, who's managing the place, are content to put down roots in the neighborhood.

Mind blowing coffee and sandwiches unlike anything in Denver.
Great place to relax, have lunch, drink a latte and eat the best chocolate chip cookie of your life. They are also great about accommodating any dietary needs :)
Really, really outstanding food. Try the Alpine (pastrami & swiss) in a Nori (seaweed) wrap. Stupendous!
The chocolate chip cookies are amazing. I don't know how they do them gluten free and still tasting so great, but wow!
Chillax and watch fascinating old movies about trains and history and such projected on the wall outside on a lovely evening.
