Description

Westword's Description

Sociable, inviting and foreplay-heavy with the murmurs and hums of flirtatious couples, the Village Cork earns a coveted spot in our amply lubed livers for its whimsy, its far-reaching list of wines by the bottle and glass, and its chalkboard menu of sumptuous sharable plates, including beef short ribs, roasted chicken and a trifecta of thrilling vegetarian dishes from chef Samir Mohammad. Notable deals -- 25 percent off "by the bottle" selections every Tuesday and Wednesday, and $5 pours by the glass on open bottles after 9 p.m. during the week and 10 p.m. on weekends -- give us reason after reason to return again and again.

Merchant's Description

Just sit, relax, enjoy your company, and let us guide you to the freshest foods, the most delightful wines, and artisan cheeses from all over the world.

Because of the freshness and availability of our products, the menu is ever changing. Nevertheless, we are pleased with every glass of wine, cheese selection, and seasonal menu item we set in front of you. The concept at The Village Cork is to slow down, experience different wines, and indulge in cheeses that taste as if you were in the country they were made.

Adorable wine and appetizers restaurant. They've recently expanded the space so it fits more than five people inside. Don't come too hungry, the plates are small but yummy!

Chef Samir Mohammad’s friendly joint serves up one of the city's most satisfying suppers. Very small menu, changes frequently, but most entrees under $20. “More Info" for review:
