Westword's Description

Pig, pig and more pig -- the Berkshire goes hog wild for pork. This restaurant in Stapleton is a temple to pork and to porcine indulgence, offering a menu full of all the great things you can do with a pig. There are pulled-pork sliders and pork belly, Serrano ham and cheese sandwiches, peanut butter and banana sandwiches with bacon, white chocolate and bacon cream puffs for dessert, and even pork-infused vodka, which makes for a great Bloody Mary. But by far the best plate here is the bacon flight -- one of the most brilliant ideas ever conceived.

What a great local restaurant. I recommend the bacontini (bacon flavored martini). They also have excellent sliders.

I love the caesar salad -- it's unusual and yummy. My husband loves the hamburger with fries and gravy! We're both in our separate but equal heaven at The Berkshire. It's also child-friendly for the grandkids. What more can you ask?

Then you might want to graduate to the slow-cooked pulled pork sandwich or the King sandwich which has peanut butter, caramelized bananas and crispy bacon. Those are just a few of the choices from a complete menu of... More >>

Decadent menu has a wealth of pork on it Try the Porky's Inferno, spicy barbecued pulled pork piled onto a brioche. Apps $7-12. Sandwiches $8-12. Mains $16-27. “More Info" for review:

  • Bacon wrapped stuffed jalepenos. Just sayin'

Totally used to love this place, but then they told me I couldn't bring my babies here (pomeranians), even though my Vivi was in a stroller. Jerks.
