Description

Westword's Description

At Sushi Tazu, the sake is served warm in wooden boxes, the green tea is a deep and smoky jade, and any discrepancy between one plate of salmon maki and the next would have to be measured with a micrometer. Here the spirit of classical Japanese sushi resides comfortably beside some more modern interpretations. The perfect spot for some perfect bites.

Good sushi, but you've got to admire the automatic toilet seat warmers.

Get the 1/2 order of the Soba or Udon and sushi. Have your soup and sushi too! I wish more Japanese restaurants offered 1/2 sized bowls of soup. Oishi!!

Delish. They close between lunch and dinner and you may have to hunt down the waitress if you're sitting outside but loved the sashimi!

Try the Red Bean Ice Cream - #Dessert...loved yummy red beans! Side note: Don't forget to check out their restroom--has fancy Japanese toilet seat :P (via @Foodspotting)

  • Ike H. on 02/07/13

Try the Katsudon - #Noodles...1/2 order. Fish cakes arrived later--not part of 1/2 order in menu, but gave to me anyway. Liked it a lot...probably chilly weather helped. (via @Foodspotting)
