Minturn, CO 81645
Hailed as the most historic restaurant in the Vail Valley, the Minturn Saloon has been open since 1976 ― but the building that houses it has gone through many incarnations in its century-old existence. Anyone looking to getting away from some of the upscale restaurants and bars of nearby Vail Village might appreciate the saloon's cozy, laid-back vibe. Some of the Minturn's specialties include Mexican dishes, barbecued chicken, ribs, steak and quail. The bar serves a wide variety of tequilas and margaritas alongside a selection of Colorado beers.
Tips from foursquare
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Get a margarita.
Ask for the number 10 hot sauce
The $22 liter of sugar water margarita is totally not worth it, but at least the guy serving you is rude and condescending! I recommend every one experience it!
Worst bar you will ever go to, primarily due to the service. I'm a career restaurant industry person and I've never been to a place that sucked this bad. Don't go here.
Ask for Barney, best server!!!
