Westword's Description

Larimer Associates has been raising a crop of restaurants far beyond its Larimer Square base, neighborhood joints designed to integrate seamlessly into their surroundings, drawing on the history of the building and the surrounding area to make it seem as if the eatery has existed there forever. And even though Madison Street just opened in 2010, it feels like it's been a part of Congress Park forever. The place has a friendly dining section and a bar with a long community table and a few cozy booths; large doors open up to a patio, giving the space a breezy, open-air feel. Dark woods and copper accents fill out the interior. The menu features downtown comfort foods like burgers, rotisserie chicken and fish tacos, as well as bar classics given an upscale twist.

Great local establishment for the family. It’s worth a visit or two, especially the Sunday brunch. Five stars in my eyes.

I miss the derelict 7-11 building compared to the fucking parking nightmare and general influx of non-neighbors on our block. I think Laura Shunk is paid to pad their reviews with her over-the-top treacle. Notice nothing negative in their... More >>

DO get the fried pickles. They are whole spears, very delicious.

Everything on the menu is delicious, and the house wine is always a good bet. Happy hour specials every night.

Don't come for lunch unless its after 3PM.

The do NOT honor the 3 check in and gets free draft beer. False advertising.

Great for brunch, love that you can park out front and the black bean quinoa veggie burger will surprise you with its yumminess!
