Merchant's Description

The King Center is a performing arts complex located on the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver housing six performing spaces; a Concert Hall, Recital Hall, Courtyard Theatre, and three permanently assigned production studios. With the inclusion of various support spaces the facility has over 180,000 square feet dedicated to the education and development of the student who wishes to enter into the performance arts. The King Center, because of its six performing spaces, can support many forms and sizes of entertainment, anywhere from theatrical performances to large choral ensembles or small master classes.

Tips from foursquare

  • Katie C. on 09/15/11

No wi-fi or cell phone signal!

  • Mitchell L. on 01/23/12

    Smelliest bathrooms on campus!

Another Excellent people watching spot on campus.

The Business School Lab is a good place to get some work done, however as others have said the cell phone signal is poor. I prefer St. Cajeans for cell signal, but their computers can be slower.

I absolutely love the UC Denver computer lab on the second floor here. Hardly ever crowded, not like the ones in the North Classroom or the Tivoli. Take advantage; it's Auraria's best kept secret!
