Description

Westword's Description

Forget any image you may have had about the place being stuffy. The Greenbriar serves contemporary fare in an elegant and charming old inn. Yeah, you can get beef Wellington and escargots, but there's also truffle-whipped potatoes. Service is efficient and gracious, and the award-winning wine list is one of the best around.

Tips from foursquare

Ridiculous wine list, deep in CA cab, meritage, Bordeaux. Love the tableside Caesar, steak tartar, and bananas foster. Unpretentious service, great food, in a historic location.

  • Drew F. on 11/10/12

I love their short ribs. They must have one of the best wine selections in Colorado too. Simply amazing.

  • Dina L. on 12/19/10

Ask for Bo - best bartender! Table side Caesar is amazing...also known for the creme brûlée. Enjoy!

  • GourmetLive on 11/22/11

Food blogger Judith of The Recipe Choreogrpaher loves the farm-to-table cuisine served in this quaint country restaurant. It’s paired with your choice of 1,200 award-winning wines.

Beware of bikers that cut you off and leave you for dead
