East Side Kosher Deli
Denver, CO 80246
For the determinedly kosher (or determinedly local), the East Side Kosher Deli is indispensible. This authentic oasis just north of Mir Park stocks everything from candies and snacks to Hanukkah candles and kosher ramen. There's a bakery, a very busy deli counter, a fish department (specializing in lox, natch) and, in the back, a small restaurant offering deli sandwiches, blintzes, knishes from the bakery, herring salad and chopped liver, as well as short ribs (beef, of course), fish tacos, Louisiana gumbo and "Oriental specialties."
Tips from foursquare
Good food/large portions, good service.
POOR excuse for a deli. Passed the phone from employee to employee, left me on hold for over 10 mins, & gave me an ATTITUDE when I called to say it had been over an hour & a 1/2 since I ordered...BAD!
The worst deli in town. The bagel and lox are an after thought!
