Tips from foursquare
The first Sunday of each month the park's streets are closed to car traffic, making them ideal for biking, rollerskating, and other activities.
In the Fall, trees stop producing chlorophyll. The carotenoids present in the leaves can finally show through. The leaves become a bright mix of glowing yellows, warm oranges and comforting browns.
Go to the rose garden in the middle of the park and just sit. Breathe. And enjoy the peaceful mixture of nature and city noises.
In the 1800's cheeseman was denvers original grave yard until the city decided to make a park, and exumed all the bodys. The place is haunted. Go there at night.
Drive the speed limit on your way home from work. The park has a posted speed limit of 15mph. It's not a short cut, it's a park.
