There’s a lot to love about Boba and Crepes, the independent shop in southeast Denver that specializes in crepes filled with everything from fresh fruit to green tea ice cream to “slices of beef pastrami, corn, lettuce, cucumber, cheese, ketchup, and topped with mayanoise.” What to wash it down? Fruit teas, milk teas, slushies and smoothies and bubble teas…or maybe just New England clam chowder, because this kitchen offers that, too. In late 2012, Boba and Crepes moved across the street to a bigger, more streamlined space, but it held onto its excellent collection of Slam Dunk, the sports-themed manga series about a high-school basketball team in Japan.
Tips from foursquare
Recommend the turkey & Swiss w/ Spinach "Popeye's" crepe. Favorite tea: iced black-tea.
The ham crepe is delicious!
Ugh. I will never return. The service was terrible and the food just ok.
Not impressed with the Turkey Popeye. There was more spinach than anything else. Also the crepes were a bit too crispy for my taste.
There is a delicious menu that consist of Crepes for lunch or midday snack. The place has wonderful Japanese manga to Asian style magazines. Boba is a large tapioca bubble used in drinks here.
