Westword's Description

Chef-owner Eric Skokan is a detail man. Everything in his well-designed restaurant is carefully put together, from the clean, comfortable decor to the ingredients, preparation and presentation of every dish. Skokan raises chickens, so the eggs are vividly fresh, and he visits his own farm in Niwot daily to select produce. As a result, the menu changes almost as often, but it's always complex, sophisticated and surprising.

The premium wine flight was an education

Probably the best meal I've ever had!

  • Stewart A. on 05/24/11

Try the Confit Of Pork Shoulder - Swiss chard, goat cheese polenta, fame-herb salsa verde. The Black Cat only uses it's own-grown ingredients. Wow! (via @Foodspotting)

Ask for an explanation of the tasting menu before getting it!

Nicely done. Had the veggie options. Nice Malbec too.
