Truth in advertising! This bustling joint is indeed deluxe, with a fantastic meat-fish-frozen grocery selections (doing rapid turnover), as well as two long sets of steam tables and two Cantonese roast meat counters. It's one of the best places in town for a tasty, cheap lunch, but don't go if you're in a hurry, as the space is crowded and can be difficult to navigate quickly. If you want to eat in, join the line at the steam tables near the back entrance, where there are tables and chairs. The signs posted in front of the various dishes are not always accurate, so just point to what looks good. Selections change daily and include awesome head-on fried shrimp, bean curd skin stuffed with cabbage and pork, ma po tofu and pork intestine. The fried pork dumplings are spectacular. The hot food often sells out around 6 or 7 p.m., so go early.
