At the north end of Capitol Hill, DeLuxe is famous for its Wednesday Burgerama (burgers and fries for $5.59), and these folks really know their way around a beef patty. Here's another pleasant perk: Most places that do burgers well don't know a radicchio leaf from a sack of beans, but the salads at this joint rival the juicy burgers. Try the peppered bacon and Tillamook cheddar burger, the house greens, or the blue-cheesy spinach salad. With cushy booths and warm fireplaces, it's also make it a top spot to grab a brew. Besides the 19 local and European beers on tap, DeLuxe has six specialty cocktails for $6 each during happy hour (3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily); we like the sophisticated Aviation cocktail—gin, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, and crème de violette. You could branch out and try the goat-cheese ravioli or house-made meatloaf, but the burgers are so good here, don't bother.
