Description

There's always going to be a need for quality sandwiches, and Pioneer Square's Delicatus offers not only locally-sourced, artisan ingredients, but lots and lots of options. Their huge menu offers tender roast beef with horseradish aioli, roasted eggplant with herbed goat cheese, pulled pork with tobiko caviar, and oh so much more. And since nothing goes better with a big sandwich than a cold beer, half of Delicatus' space is a wood-paneled, fully stocked bar.

Surly Notes: Hey guys, I didn't TECHNICALLY write this entry this week. I just translated the writing inscribed on an old piece of pottery I found buried in a sand dune in Iraq. It seems to describe a... More »

You'd be forgiven if you interpreted my pronouncement that meatloaf sandwiches will play a central role in the revitalization of Pioneer Square as tongue in cheek. But you'd also be wrong. I'm dead-as... More »
