Description
This new gourmet shop is a welcome addition to a neighborhood heavily reliant on a Met Supermarket for its cheese and bread, which are the best finds at Delicacies. Bread comes from Pain D'Avignon, and artisinal cheeses come in a range from mild (creamy St. Andre from France) to stinky (Stilton Bleu from England). There are the usual pitfalls of a gourmet shop, like more flavored olive oil than people really need, but there's also flaky Maldon sea salt, and the Met certainly can't compete in that category.
