This over 80 year old dispenser of heros, hidden deep inside Red Hook, concocted its own take on the Italo-Kings County roast-beef hero. Called Nick's Special, it marries meat, mozzarella, and fried eggplant with a fiery vegetable relish that may be ordered separately as a salad. Scrumptious!
