Description

This mid-city club was named the L.A. Weekly's Best Industrial Bar in 2011, and it's easy to see why. Walk into this dark world and you will encounter dancing demons, vampy vixens and, most shockingly, regulars who are as friendly as they are fiendish-looking. DJs spin the loudest, heaviest power noise and old-school industrial sounds in three separate areas; regulars know to convene on the much quieter outdoor patio.

    In a town where it takes over an hour to get anywhere, after a commute home after a long week of work it's pretty hard to motivate yourself to do much beyond throw on a pair of jeans and head to the nearest pub for some shots and beer. Das Bunker might be the only thing worth making the effort for. Weather you feel like throwing on some army pants and a tank top or going all out in PVC and latex it's a welcoming and fun environment with pretty rad DJ's-BiGod 20, Front 242, KMFDM, all very good. According to the website they play everything from Industrial dance and EBM to PowerNoize - and they do.
