Dallas Observer's Description

Phil Romano's venture into the no-frills, white paper bag hamburger market is nestled right in Highland Park. The thing that sets it apart from other burger joints is Kobe beef, that prized meat harvested from the Japanese Wagyu cattle (or the Texas-bred version) that is perhaps the richest, tastiest beef on earth. But to get the full benefit of this flavor, you must order your burger rare or medium-rare.

    The Berryhill Baja Grill Cantina chain has locations all over. Most are big and new with great bars and TVs, which I like, but my favorite is this original one in River Oaks. It's tiny inside, but still has a bar you can sit at and watch a game. It has a patio, but it's also pretty small. Best to go at an off-peak time. Everything here is ridiculously great.
