Dallas Observer's Description
Like the café adjacent to this full-service grocery store, Urban Market is in the InterUrban Building, a downtown high-rise apartment house that was once the Dallas Train Station. It's not just a full-service grocer downtown, it's the only full-service grocery store downtown. The store stocks fresh seasonal and bagged produce; has naturally raised, hormone-free meats, fish and poultry in the meat department; and sells prepared foods direct from the kitchen. Aside from the selection of pantry and refrigerator staples, this store has a deli, sells more than 120 craft beers from across the globe and has a florist. If you're too busy slaving away in your downtown office, Urban Market offers a personal-shopper program, which will deliver ordered items to your home. But only on Mondays.
Tips from foursquare
Service is friendly. Had hookah there with a friend twice.. not to many flavors but still good. Just ask and they'll explain how it works. You have to smoke it outside though. Mint was good. =)
This place has a great patio! Lots of greenery and cool urban feel. Too bad more people aren't walking.
The Urban Turkey Wrap is the most delicious thing I've ever put in my mouth.
Gyro platter is delicious
The food Can be a bit pricey. I recommend the breakfast tacos. The burrito is almost Chipotle sized!
