Description

Dallas Observer's Description

Bedford's no-frills neighborhood bar Toadies isn't named after the famous Dallas rock band. Far more obvious than that, it's a frog-themed bar, complete with a giant frog on the huge sign that sits above the entrance, and frog statues sprinkled within the bar. Almost everyone sitting at the long wooden counter seems well-acquainted with each other, discussing the ins and outs of whichever local team is playing on the pull-down screen behind the bar. The drink selection seems pared down to just the basics, but what Toadies lacks in drink variety, it makes up for in friendly service.
