The Oak Cliff Social Club

Map & Directions 238 W. Davis St.
Dallas, TX 75208

Dallas Observer's Description

Oak Cliff Social Club, located on the eastern edge of Oak Cliff's Bishop Arts District, offers a no-frills drinking environment for folks looking to hang around the neighborhood when the shops and restaurants close down for the night. With six beers on tap, the most exotic being Brooklyn Lager, the bar isn't for the beer snob but rather those looking for a subdued hangout. The raw wooden slats that line the walls – all finished with slightly different shades of brown – give the place a warm feeling, while the vaulted ceiling opens up the long barroom.

The Pool Tables aren't the best but the drinks were solid. Try the Spicy Sausage Queso.

Terrible service! Waited 10 minutes, didn't get served because the bartenders were hanging out with their friends so we left. It was pretty empty anyway.
