Dallas Observer's Description

"Located just south of downtown and above Gilley's Saloon at the Palladium, The Loft's 3,000-square-foot balcony and patio lounge is one of several venues housed in the Gilley's Dallas Complex." But it's The Loft that's gained a reputation for offering its patrons one of the area's best nighttime views of the Dallas skyline. Then there's the fact that The Loft's stage is known for featuring a wide variety of touring indie/trendy acts of the up-and-comer variety. The Loft also boasts a stage, dance floor, full bar, comfy couches and tables and chairs. Even if the parking lot fills up on a very busy night, there's usually parking to be found in the area.

It's the balcony outside that may be the best... More >>

You must stand outside on the patio. It's an amazing view.

Great venue but the floor almost collapsed. It was scary but it will not stop me from going to shows here!

  • Logan C. on 03/19/11

Be prepared to stand - all night. but also be prepared to enjoy a great atmosphere with an awesome view of the dallas skyline
