Dallas Observer's Description
There are a number of spots to wet your whistle on the Henderson Avenue corridor, most of which offer a somewhat elevated food menu and craft cocktails. But at The Dram, there's not a food menu in sight. They don't need one. The cocktails are reason enough to go. And so is the atmosphere. Plush furniture fills the low-lit space, and the padded wallpaper features a well-curated collage of art, both vintage and new. The Dram is decadent without feeling like a pretentious ultra-lounge, drawing an eclectic mix of drinkers.
Tips from foursquare
This place is super dumb. Fake lines outside, men in bedazzled graphic tees. It's jersey shore meets most eligible Dallas and it is not okay.
If there's a line, don't bother. The guy running the door is as good at counting as he is at washing his hair. Which he obviously is not good at since he looks like an extra from Grease.
Definitely a place to see and be seen. Even on a Tuesday.
This may be my new favorite place in Dallas.
A great place to throw bows!
