Dallas Observer's Description
The Bone has been a Deep Ellum mainstay for nearly two decades. It's a great hangout for locals and a great place to catch a band, but the real beauty of the place is in its patrons. Being a Deep Ellum bar means being a melting pot for hipster, hip-hoppers, bikers, and just about anyone else looking to hang out in the recovering neighborhood. Much like the attitude of surrounding scenery, The Bone is a no-frills joint where you can grab a beer and soak in some of the local color-and in Deep Ellum, there's a lot of it.
Tips from foursquare
Don't go to RockStar Karaoke on Thursdays. Poorly organized. Drummer "tired out" at midnight. No third round because they had some folks do more than one song. Bone must really need someone on stage
This place is fun. Keary is a great bartender.
The view from the rooftop deck is spectacular!
Kearyokie Mondays. Tuesday Blues Nights. Wednesday Open Mic with Jes Spires. Always something to do. :)
Good Bartenders Good Drinks Good Peeps ;)
