Dallas Observer's Description

If you’re looking for one of those oh-so-trendy sushi joints that blasts thumping techno music and shakes up sake-tinis for a bar full of cougars, Sushi Yokahama is not for you. If, however, you’re looking for a slightly more authentic experience at a low-key place that offers fresh, well-executed Japanese food, this small eatery in a nondescript North Dallas strip mall might be just the place. While you won’t find any Super Duper Happy Crunch Rolls on the menu, you will find an extensive selection of sashimi and sushi rolls, from tuna and hamachi to eel and octopus, plus other dishes such as tempura, teriyaki and udon. Round out your meal with the expected salad with ginger dressing and miso soup; a warm bottle of sake helps the yellowtail go down easy.
