Dallas Observer's Description

Two owners and they both happen to be chefs-which works out very well for this Rockwall destination. Randall Copeland and Nathan Tate rely on local, seasonal ingredients as much as possible, sometimes even picking fruits and vegetables from their own gardens. The menu changes according to whims of nature, of course. One time the wood-grilled pork comes with grits, the next time with peaches grown in Canton. But just about every dish we tried on several occasions proved a standout.

    Ask for Sean if he is Waiting tables. Start to finish, a wonderful experience. Get the butternut squash soup and the Gouda smoked Mac n cheese. Wear pants with an elastic waistband!!

    We eat here regularly and the food is always wonderful. Unique meals with great taste. We also cater from Ava regularly and it is great.

    The menu changes seasonally to serve what's available fresh locally. Be sure to drop by often to try new dishes! The desserts are all great. And do try a corn muffin.

    A favorite among foodies and insiders, chefs Randall Copeland and Nathan Tate dish out fresh, well-executed cuisine. The biscuits alone are well worth the trip to Rockwall.
