Dallas Observer's Description

In a restaurant with a sign more appropriate for a pizzeria than an eatery in the historic Davis Building, diners enjoy authentic regional Italian fare on red and white checkered tablecloths. However, in a way, it is like a pizzeria. Lunch customers order the popular slices at the counter, which are then brought to their tables or to the fully stocked, dark-wood bar, boasting an affordable wine list and specialty cocktails. Its location does make Ravenna a favorite of companies looking to woo prospective clients during lunch or dinner. During the latter service, the restaurant is packed. No worries, odds are the wait won't be longer than 10 minutes -- plenty of time to peruse a menu featuring lobster ravioli and marsala.
