Dallas Observer's Description
Sure, Neapolitan pizza is all the rage right now, but sometimes you just crave a good olâ slice of Americana. Piggie Pies on Upper Greenville does classic American-style pizza with a soft, chewy-but-crisp crust loaded with plenty of toppings. (Itâs also conveniently located next to Condom Sense, in case you think taking your date out for pizza is gonna get you lucky.) There are also deep-dish and thin-crust options. Get crazy with the Thai Chicken that features peanut sauce, bell peppers and scallions, or the Blackened Chicken with cajun-spiced poultry. The signature Pig Pen comes piled high with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, olives, bell peppers and onions. True little piggies can round out their meals with breadsticks, wings and cheesecake; there are also pasta dishes from cannelloni to chicken parm, while non-piggy-eaters may opt for the Veggie pie with zucchini and broccoli.
