Description

Dallas Observer's Description

Avner Samuel has dropped the prices and stripped away much of the pretension from Aurora to create Nosh in the space that previously housed his legendary fine dining temple. But the restaurateur hasn't abandoned his commitment to quality, infusing almost every small plate on the menu with admirable excellence. Neighborhood doyennes come here to see and be seen, but regular diners can focus their gazes on the bistro classics, including a stunning pate, beautifully fried oysters, steamed clams and crispy escargot fritters that, at $6, are a steal even by non-Samuel standards.

Tips from foursquare

  • Claire I. on 03/01/13

Tempura brussel sprouts are amazing!!! Sit at the bar if its crowded. Much faster service and a quick seat.

  • Cydney F. on 02/05/12

Food is fantastic, restaurant is crazy loud. Not the place for a quiet romantic date. The drinks are delicious.

  • Katie A. on 07/25/11

Mac n cheese, scallops, watermelon salad, quail, espresso ribs, and mussells. But pretty much everything is spot on!

  • Rondo E. on 06/07/12

Watch out for Ryan, the hovering waiter.

  • Helen V. on 12/07/11

Half off apps from 4-6 at the BAR only. Didn't tell us last Time we were here although menu doesn't mention that either.
