Dallas Observer's Description

Dark wood tones and mellow lighting give Nobu Dallas a calming ambiance. This is in contrast to Nobuyuki Matsuhisa's signature dishes, which include the colorful scallop with jalapeño salsa and fresh yellowtail sashimi, also with jalapeño. But caveat emptor: With few exceptions, this experience doesn't come cheap. Those wanting bragging rights will be better served by dining during happy hour, when appetizers like the wagyu and foie gras potstickers will only set you back six clams.

Tips from foursquare

  • Victoria's Secret on 05/09/11

Dine in style (or just see-and-be-seen) at this swanky Japanese restaurant & sushi bar.

  • Gilt City on 08/04/11

Great Dallas outpost of this NY classic. The miso cod is just perfect. With a smooth buttery texture, you may even want to order two!
