Description

Dallas Observer's Description

Every inch of this joint yells "SPORTS!" from the signed Troy Aikman jersey on the wall near the front door to the big-screen TVs throughout the bar to the bowling, hunting and Golden Tee arcade games in the back. Cheap drinks, good sandwiches and friendly servers make it a relaxing place to take in a game. Also, you can check out the display of Born on the Fourth of July memorabilia, including script pages, as scenes from the Oliver Stone film were filmed there. The place was opened in 1971, and looks every bit its age, if not more. But somehow, the faded paint, layers of bathroom graffiti and busted booth benches add to the charm.
