Description

Dallas Observer's Description

Addison seems to have its fair share of pubs. Within a square mile you can find The Flying Saucer, The Mucky Duck and Social House. But the bar that out-pubs them all is Lion & Crown, located on the Addison Circle. The sheer amount of British memorabilia and d├ęcor on the bar's wooden walls give the place a legit UK vibe, minus the incessant rain and cool accents. The bar features a wide variety of popular imported beers and Irish whiskies.

They have beer and liquor! Not loud so you can actually converse with people. The bartenders are super nice. Not sure what the other person was talking about with the bad service.

This place has gotten better. The staff is sweet and you can't beat a $3 whiskey!

  • Christopher M. on 09/22/10

Full menu and added card services. Things have settled down and is a great spot for quality beer/food

  • Bryan P. on 08/21/10

This place is terrible. Worst service ever.

  • Hannah B. on 06/22/11

Fish and chips are a sure winner! Lots of English beers too!
