Dallas Observer's Description

While the restaurant's name implies the only eats here are just Mexican, there is more to it than that. This is especially true of breakfast. For the first meal of the day, customers can grub on pancake and egg specials. Skip those. Go for their popular chilaquiles or the weightier two breakfast-burrito platter. The lunch appetizers are heavy on the quesadilla options. Order the sample platter of apps. It will give you a summary experience of the small-plate offerings, unless you want a quesadilla with the works. Then, the Quesadilla del Patron (chicken flautas, one beef nacho and a veggie quesadilla served with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole) is the starter to get. The house specialties, like the fluffy, crispy chile relleno, are what really draw the customers in this vibrantly decorated restaurant.
