Description

Dallas Observer's Description

The color scheme is black and white with accents of warm, pale green. Flat-screen televisions run strange loops of video clips, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Fashion Week mixed with a handful of other random shows. What looks to be a tiny dinosaur skeleton hangs over the bar. The doors are open to the pool and strains of hip-hop filter in on the breeze. There's something at once eclectic and, yes, a little pretentious about Dragonfly. Menu offerings include Ahi tuna tacos served alongside avocado pico and daikon sprouts, seared diver sea scallops and foie gras, and cherry cola quail. The whole scene is rather Cabaret-esque. The European decor, the waitresses' seductive uniforms, the illusion that in here, everything is beautiful. It may be a little self-involved, but there is nothing illusory about chef Daniel Landsberg's menu. It is beautiful.

This chic boutique hotel where everyone is treated like a VIP is home to the award-winning Dragon Fly bar & poolside lounge.

  • Gilt City on 09/23/11

Dragonfly's Chef Dan Landsberg created a playful menu that includes twists on classic dishes like grilled lamb lollipops with pickled Jalapeños and tart balsamic greens.

Wifi code is VOGUE in all caps.

  • WorldVentures on 08/23/11

On October 29, 2005, WorldVentures kicked off our Pre-Launch phase in a Hotel ZaZa ballroom with a little over 100 fired up new Reps. It was a packed room and was by personal invitation only.

  • StealingKitty on 09/28/11

Sunday School brunch. It is like a rave with grown ups and fantastic food.
