Dallas Observer's Description

Chef Sharon McGrath's neighborhood café keeps it simple and casual, attracting area workers and visitors to Plano. Lunch here pretty much consists of a sandwich and soup or salad, all of which comes to nowhere near $10. The sandwiches, for example, cost $5.99 and are served with a spring mix salad. Among the popular ones are the BBLT (best bacon, lettuce and tomato) and the Bistro Deluxe (smoked ham and turkey). The soups and salads are mildly creative with Thai-style pumpkin falling in the former category and artichoke hearts and proscuitto in the latter. Of course there's a cheeseburger. For the busy cube farmer, the entire menu is available for take-out. Breakfast is just as simple. That's when customers start the day at the white-tablecloth tables with a Greek yogurt and berry brule, four-dollar hotcakes and other morning fare.
