This large eatery (a branch of a well-known Hong Kong chain) in the Pacific East Mall has a huge menu covering everything from high (fresh crabs in tanks) to low (incredibly cheap noodle dishes). There are Chinese dishes both expected (wonton soup, mu shu pork) and un- (stir-fried ostrich, frogs' legs with lily buds). It's a good place at any hour, but its unique appeal is that it's open until 3 a.m. every night of the week, drawing its night-bird clientele from all over the East Bay.
