Description

Tom Douglas' flagship restaurant (Tom Hanks eats here in that movie) may be a big space, but it still feels like a love nest. Must be the acres and acres of red, giving everyone at your table a healthy, loved-up flush. Dahlia has some of the best service in the city, free of upmarket attitude, and Douglas' food is brawny-rotisserie 5-spice duck, crab cakes with seasoned fries-yet delicately balanced, making it easy for you to bypass your fill-to line. As for those who find themselves mulling over the dessert menu: Yes, the coconut cream pie deserves its iconic status.
