While Dad's Cookie Company's treats can be found all over town at grocery stores and restaurants, home base has been the same location in south city since 1938. The shop is open Monday through Saturday and offers sweet treats including the original recipe Dad's Original Scotch Oatmeal cookies, a recipe brought from Scotland to California around 1900, as the story goes. Besides the oatmeal cookie, Dad's also offers traditional favorites such as chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies.
